When to go ‘below the fold’

One of the criticisms I’ve heard about artists showcasing their portfolio in the form of a blog, is that you have to continuously scroll down a endless page of content to see their work, which can become a pain for various reasons. Since a lot of templated blogs don’t allow for much navigation, it becomes difficult to a visitor to view the specific content they are seeking. This artist, however, turns ‘below the fold’ into a cool experience. Even going as far as making scrolling and interactive experience. The top navigation gives the user the option to narrow down their search, should they not want to venture below the fold.
